The bar is so low for the GOP that they have now decided to platform the estranged mother of a Democratic candidate, while allowing her to spread provable lies, and failing to mention that the candidate was SEXUALLY abused by her stepfather.
I am speechless. Rarely. But today. Yes. And enraged.
Here is the story. The Hill is reporting that a campaign style pro-Vivek Ramaswamy ad has been created in which Amy Acton's mother calls her a "liar".
Last week, I wrote about how the notorious conman Vivek Ramaswamy had co-opted Dr. Amy Acton's estranged mother for his "October surprise."

She says: “I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent — it is not easy for a mother to say this, but Amy has a serious problem. She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life. My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth. And my daughter still isn’t doing that. Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse."
It is unclear who paid for the video, though the PAC that paid for it appears to be connected to Elon Musk.
Amy Acton's brother was instantly disgusted. He put out a press release on Tuesday, saying that it is “not surprising that Vivek Ramaswamy has stooped to such a despicable low as to attempt to turn the sexual abuse Amy endured at twelve years old from our birth mother’s husband into a political talking point. After he was arrested and Amy and I were removed from their custody, our birth mother stayed married to Amy’s rapist until he died."
In a 2019 interview, Acton shared horrible details about her childhood, which included "abuse, neglect and a period of homelessness."
The last time she ever spoke with her mother was at the courthouse when her stepfather was arrested for SEXUALLY ABUSING HER. And her mother sided with him. And she stayed with him until he died.

The AP went and dug up the records just to see who was telling the truth.
It won't surprise you to learn it was Amy Acton.
According to police and court documents obtained by The Associated Press, Cledith Arthur was arrested and charged with the rape of his stepdaughter, then 12, in July 1978, after Acton’s biological father reported his alleged conduct to authorities. The abuse allegedly happened from December 1976 to April 1978.
Cledith Arthur pleaded not guilty. He was indicted by a grand jury that September, but failed to show at a court hearing and remained a fugitive until at least 1981. He has since died.
Is anyone really surprised that a Republican candidate would side with pedophiles and their enablers to try to win an election? This is the party that supports Donald Trump. A party that has helped hide the Epstein Files and the abusers who enabled him. A party that is filled with child sexual abusers. This is WHO THEY ARE.
