With the price of beef so high heading into today's midterms, a desperate Secretary of Agriculture lied to Fox Business and claimed that the Democratic Party wants to get rid of all cattle so they can fight climate change.
Exactly how the Democratic Party would eliminate every cow in America is unknown, but Republicans are grasping at windmills.
Host Dagen McDowell began this little interlude by attacking Ana Navarro of The View for mistaking the word "pound" for "gallon" when she recited the high costs of beef under the Trump administration and said that made her an elitist.
Huh?
"I saw a video that Anna Navarro put up, who frequently appears on The View, trying to encourage people to vote for the Democrats," McDowell said. "And she said, ground beef is $6.30 a gallon. And I thought, well, doggone if that just doesn't hammer home the fact that these Democrats are truly liberal elites."
She continued, "At every turn, they think ground beef is sold by the gallon. By the gallon!"
Forgot the sky-rocketing costs of beef or the struggle for farmers in America under Trump's wretched economy, a lefty said gallon! We want Ana Navarro's head!
ROLLINS: And by the way, not only was that remarkable, but it's also remarkable that this is the same group of people that want to get rid of cattle, that want us to eat lab-grown meat, that believe that cattle caused the end of the world through climate change, through cattle burps and other things.
So it is just so disingenuous and almost laughable, except that people are often listening to that.
And that's why these conversations are so important.
No one is fighting harder to bring prices down, to really bring the American dream back, than President Trump and this administration.
Since Trump took office, the cost of beef has risen by 25%, like almost every item you buy these days, whether in stores or online.
Trump dismisses the affordability crisis, claiming he doesn't care, and then blames you for complaining about it because he stopped Iran from nuking California.
Rollins is a monster in disguise as the Secretary of Agriculture. Her caustic treatment of SNAP and Medicaid recipients is awful. Her callous disregard for the health and safety of those in need to fulfill Trump's tax cuts for the wealthy agenda is what makes her a monster in a dress.
