Nino Rota: A lot more than a film Score composer.

Over to Madrid this week for a really interesting concert. The Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de Espana led by Josep Pons in music by Nino Rota and Gustav Mahler. The dances from Il Gatopardo (The Leopard) by Rota and Mahler's Symphony Number 5. A great concert which is broken up into two parts. Part one (top player) features the Rota and part two (bottom player) features the Mahler. Announcements are in Spanish and edited down to fit.
