Media Matters caught this bit from Fox News where host Heather Childers and Brenda Buttner, who appears regularly on Fox on Saturday mornings as part of their "business block" let this one slip let one slip and told the truth about what their Uncle Rupert and his network think about destroying government sector jobs.

CHILDERS: What about any of the sectors that saw a drop off. And you talk about the ones that, you know, were good news, retail manufacturing... are there any sectors that lost jobs?

BUTTNER: Well the issue is... well government is a little bit... you know, losing jobs, but that's something that we see as a positive because we want government to lose jobs to get more in line with the private sector.

It's really pathetic that they're not even trying to hide it any more. Heaven forbid we've still got some unionization, decent wages, job security and retirement security in the government sector. Let's make sure everyone in America is doing as terribly as humanly possible. These yappers at Fox won't be content until we've got nothing left of our middle class.
