Neil Cavuto had controversial talk show host Don Imus (we know what happened) on because Imus is a close friend of McCain and is pulling for him hard to win, but said that McCain was really grumpy when he interviewed him earlier in the day and sounded like a completely different man.
"It was like 180 degrees from the guy I'd ever talk to."
He also said McCain sent in Palin ill prepared to answer questions to Katy and Charles. Imus wasn't attacking Obama and said he probably would make a good President. Cavuto kept trying to say that he was going to tax Don to death and strip away the fairness doctrine, but Imus didn't care at all.
Cavuto agreed to McCain's grumpiness and as their interview closed, Imus said this:
Imus: If it's close it'll be the Bradley effect...., but I hope it's not decided that way and I hope the best guy wins. And I'm going to vote for John McCain and I'd ask everybody else to. I really do think he has the potential to be a great President and we'll just hope he doesn't die.
Alright, on that upbeat note. Don Imus thank you very much
So for all the wingers that get upset when McCain's age is brought up, even his friend Imus is joking about it.
Here's the earlier interview with Imus and McCain that he referenced McCain's grumpiness which was on WABC.
