Has it really been 22 years since Public Enemy released It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back?

Following the trend of groups playing their classic albums in their entirety, Public Enemy played It Takes a Nation in its entirety at Flavor Flav's 50th birthday party last night in New York City. Remember, before he was a reality TV buffoon he was a legitimate provocateur.

Public Enemy will be performing on The Jimmy Fallon Show tonight with house band The Roots, and will play It Takes a Nation with the Roots backing them up at The Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 6th.
