This Week with George Stephanopoulos notes the deaths of service members in Afghanistan.

US Army PFC Barrett L Austin, 20, Easley, SC
US Army CPT Aaron Blanchard, 32, Selah, WA
US Army 1LT Robert J Hess, 26, Fairfax, VA

Per iCasualties, the total number of service members killed in Afghanistan is now 3,288.

In addition, the following notable names lost their lives this week:

Singer Chrissy Amphlett, 53
Civil servant George Bunn, 87
Folk singer Richie Havens, 72
MN state politician Doug Carlson, 73
Politician and liberal activist Robert W. Edgar, 69
Country music legend George Jones, 81
ND state politician William L. Guy, 93
