This Week with George Stephanopoulos notes that there were no deaths of service members in Afghanistan.

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Afghanistan remains 3,348.

In addition, the following notable names passed away this week:

Iraqi intelligence officer (and half-brother to Saddam Hussein) Sabawi Ibrahim al-Tikriti, 66
British politician Norman Atkinson, 90
Activist and filmmaker Toshi Seeger, 91
