This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the deaths of service members in Afghanistan.

US Army SSG Robert E Thomas Jr, 24, Fontana, CA

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Afghanistan is now 3,373.

In addition, the following notable names lost their lives this week:

Florida politician E. Clay Shaw, Jr, 74
Screenwriter Don Nelson, 86
