This Week with George Stephanopoulos notes the deaths of six service members in Afghanistan:

US Marines LCpl Jeremiah M Collins Jr, 19, Milwaukee, WI
US Army 1LT Jennifer M Moreno, 25, San Diego, CA
US Army SGT Patrick C Hawkins, 25, Carlisle, PA
US Army SGT Joseph M Peters, 24, Springfield, MO
US Army PFC Cody J Patterson, 24, Philomath, OR
US Army SPC Angel L Lopez, 27, Parma, OH

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Afghanistan is now 3,390.

In addition, the following notable names lost their lives this week:

Musician Phil Chevron, 56
Politician Rod Grams, 65
Author and film critic Stanley Kauffmann, 97
Actor Kumar Pallana, 94
Astronaut Scott Carpenter, 88
