This Week with Christiane Amanpour notes the passings of media executive Daniel Burke and Pakistan People’s Party activist Nusrat Bhutto. In addition, the Pentagon has released the names of ten service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Iraq is 4,800; in Afghanistan, 2,789, of which 158 are Canadian. During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 103 Iraqi civilians killed, for a month-to-date total of 340.
