This Week with Christiane Amanpour notes the passings of journalist Tom Wicker and former Chicago First Lady Maggie Daley. In addition, the Pentagon has released the names of four service members killed in Afghanistan:

US Army PFC Adam E Dobereiner, 21, Moline, IL
US Marines LCpl Joshua D Corral, 19, Danville, CA
US Army PVT Jackie L Diener II, 20, Boyne City, MI
US Marines Cpl Zachary C Reiff, 22, Preston, IA

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Iraq is 4,801; in Afghanistan, 2,818, of which, 158 were Canadian. During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 75 Iraqi civilians killed, for a month-to-date total of 215.
