In his stand-up, Jimmy Kimmel isn't really laughing.
Judge called him a child molester.
And yet he chose to run for public office.
(C-SPAN 05.28.2014) Dennis Hastert appeared on C-SPAN's Washington Journal one morning to talk about the midterm elections when he received a very strange call from Yorkville, IL, where he was a high school teacher and coach. The caller, going by the name of Bruce, asks if Hastert remembers him and then laughs, abruptly ending the call. The former speaker was recently indicted on charges that "he lied to the FBI and tried to mask cash transactions made from various banks."
At least he'll serve time for this one crime.
Hastert, who led the house for eight years before retiring in 2007, was indicted two weeks ago on charges he structured bank transactions to avoid triggering red flags.
