Wednesday's Worst Person in the Word segment on Countdown started off with Newt Gingrich taking the bronze for making the ridiculous statement that Bill & Hillary Clinton were attempting to get another 8 years in the White House, which has never been done -- except Poppy Bush & Jr. who will have amassed 12 years combined by January 2009. (not to mention Poppy's 8 years as VP) The silver went to Best Buy for having the nerve to set up a Heath Ledger display in stores pimping his movies before his autopsy had even been completed and the gold went to FOXNews' John Gibson. Gibson, in his coverage of Ledger's death on his radio show played the "I can't quit you" clip from Brokeback Mountain and said "well, he found out how to quit you, " that he was a drug addict and joked that he was depressed because he watched the Clinton, Obama debate. Now that's class...
