Perhaps feeling the ratings heat, Fox News is making changes to its afternoon lineup.
TVNewser reports that E.D. Hill, who hosts "America's Pulse" — and who raised many eyebrows this week after calling Barack and Michelle Obama's fist-pound a "terrorist fist jab"has lost her show: —
America's Pulse anchored by E.D. Hill goes away, but Hill stays with the network in a capacity to be determined. Hill has been with FNC since 1998. She co-anchored Fox & Friends for several years before moving to the 11amET hour, then launching America's Pulse. Read on...
The GOP is dying a slow and very public death, and so is Fox News. E.D. is just the latest Fox "personality" to lose their show. Their ratings are tanking and the stress is obviously getting to them. It's gotten so petty that Rupert Murdoch's Post has resorted to the petty little attacks like these against MSNBC and Keith Olbermann. Keith and MSNBC are overtaking Fox in ratings, so it just makes sense. E.D. still has a job, but unfortunately, her time slot will be filled with an even bigger right wing hack -- Laura Ingraham.

Sometimes if I'm bored I'll click on Fox and Friends with Brian Kilmeade, err I mean Leslie Hochwenderson! What a moran! And Bill o and Sean Hannity! OMFG! The talking points are so damn stupid! Then I have to rebut these same talking points around the water cooler everyday. Like the fact that the price of oil is more tied to the worthless U.S. Petro dollar, then drilling for a million barrels of oil a day over there in Alaska!

Figures. When things get tough, you go from barely disguised propaganda to full-out, go-for-the-throat, rabid drooling propaganda (see: Glen Beck). These people never left the third grade playground. They just can't grow up to save their lives. Or ours.
What's really happening here is that there's a ratings push between CNN and Fox to compete for the neanderthal demographic, which has been so good for both of them. Don't expect it to get any better. It's like the price of gasoline. In a year, we'll all dream fondly of the good ol' days when we had E.D.

Are their ratings, in fact, tanking? My impression is that Faux News is doing quite well when compared to other news channels. I wish I could say otherwise. Hell, I wish I could say that Roger Aisles knelt publically on television before tens of millions of viewers and confessed that he was a bigoted, hypocritical charlatan who coopted fools and cynics to run a news-lookalike lie; but I don't think that's going to happen anytime in the next week or so.

I listen to Laura Ingraham's radio show once in a while here in Austin. Generally, she's pretty low-brow and not very insightful. Her PROMOS are the DUMBEST host-generated radio promos in broadcasting. She really is in... WAAAY over her head. I can't imagine what she's going to do with network TV broadcast time.
