Palin: And I do look forward to Thursday night and debating Sen. Joe Biden. We're gonna talk about those new ideas, new energy for America. I'm looking forward to meeting him too. I've never met him before, but I've been hearing about his Senate speeches since I was in like second grade.
Let's see, Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1942 and was elected into the Senate in 1972. John McCain was born on August 29, 1936, so if she was---oh, never mind.
I do believe she will come out attacking Biden on Thursday night to appear the aggressor and the media will be wooed.

We have to be very optimistic about this debate. Palin BLEW her chances (plural) to woo the media. They are very annoyed with her. The honeymoon is over.
In fact, in this age of super-fast stardom cycles, I have never seen such a rapid rise and fall of a star politician - just over a month.
Palin is headed toward an epic fail on Thursday. Biden had better not blow it. It is his debate to lose. He has an opportunity to not only take Palin a notch lower, but also give a boost to the timid and polite Obama.

She even used the word 'awesome' to describe McCain's debate performance from last week which is Bush's favorite word ('Awesome speech, your excellency' - Bush said to the Pope). It's an issue for McCain because he looks so bad and acts erratically, which is a real concern for someone who would have our lives in our hands vis a vis nuclear codes. His history of melanoma makes his ability to finish out a four-year term a real question. He acts 10 years older than he really is and required more than $5,000 of makeup services over the past several months to make himself presentable.
Whereas, Joe Biden looks and acts hale and hearty, at least 10 years younger than his chronological age, so to criticize him is just empty-headed.

I have always admired the presidents who have protected their children from the press as much as possible. The Clintons were probably the best at it. But with Palin, it seems something new has happened. She is putting her unwed pregnant teen daughter on the stage for the whole speech like a freakin' stage prop or something. How could a mom possibly use a daughter that way? I don't give a damn that the kid is pregnant, that's her business, but I doubt it's her choice to stand up there and have everyone stare at her.
It is worse than that.
What people are missing is the fact that this was already known to be a kid with developemental challenges in the womb, and then that was exacerbated by the fact that he was born one month premature.
This means that this poor little one, that was already behind the eight ball in the womb, was further compromised by his not having enough time in the womb to hatch properly.
His immune system has to be very compromised. What woman brings a four month old baby into an event where there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people breathing out germs for hours on end? Even if it were a healthy infant.
Here we have a down's syndrome, PREMATURE baby, only four months old, being forced into this kind of situation, over and over and over again.
This woman isn't even fit enough to be a mother, let alone a president.
I am appalled at the lack of conscience of the Republican campaign managers that should have more sense " collectively' than this idiot of a VP candidate, and yet here this poor baby is on display, event after event to catch a sympathy vote here and there. Obviously MCCain's wife isn't the poster girl for motherhood either to be at Palin's side in this.

Certainly in math, because in Illinois where I grew up and in Texas where I live now and my children attend school, a child is usually 7 or 8 when they attend 2nd grade. 27 + 8 (I'm being generous) = 35. Palin is in her 40's, so she wouldn't have heard any of Biden's speeches until junior high or high school. What a moron.

It's an old con-man trick. You nod, and people who agree with you start to nod.
But, even better, after you 'anchor' that behavior a few times by nodding in response to true statements, then you can toss a falsehood in there, nod, and it causes your audience to behave in the same manner as your truthful statement.
