Well, there you go. Just another one of those unfortunate accidents that seem to occur when responsible gun owners are around!
SALTSBURG, Pa. — Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a stray bullet grazed the head of a 5-day-old infant in what officials are calling a hunting accident.
Indiana County prosecutors said the bullet came into a home near Saltsburg in Young Township at about 7 p.m. Thursday.
District Attorney Pat Dougherty said the infant's father had been sitting on a couch holding the infant when the bullet tore through the window of the home.
Dougherty said the bullet is believed to have come from hunters on private property across the street. He said they had permission to be there.
I'm sure they did nothing wrong. After all, they're hunters, the epitome of responsible gun ownership!
