I turned off the telly immediately after Pres Biden’s speech ended. I need absolutely no one to critique what I just saw for “tone” or “optics.” Nothing need be added, nor did its plain meaning require analysis or dissection by paid opinion-givers.

That was by far President Biden's most powerful speech. It was perfect in tone and in making it clear that Trump is responsible for the #January6th terrorist attack. Biden also mentioned "fascism" and that past generations had to stand up to that threat. Analogy is GOP is fascism

It's hard to recall a stronger or more historic speech President Biden has delivered since taking office. For the last year, he's tried to avoid his agenda and presidency from being hijacked with extraneous talk about Trump. But today, in a Capitol he reveres, he minced no words.
