But let's look at what The Combover's argument for a minute. He's saying that Jack Welch, because he used to run GE, is better at calculating current employment than the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is a little like saying that because Rudy Giuliani was once mayor of New York, he knows what The Combover's current real estate tax bill is.
Anyway, the notion that Jack Welch is an expert in employment is especially laughable since, under his watch, GE lost 100,000 jobs.
