Last night on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show, Glenn Beck made his weekly appearance and was shocked to learn from O'Reilly that White House Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett was upset with him, and wanted to know why Beck was after her.

Beck either feigned amnesia, or he's a complete psycho who manages to obliterate any memory of his vicious verbal assaults on various individuals:

O'Reilly: She goes -- and she was very nice by the way -- 'What is his problem with me?' So here you are -- what is your problem with Valerie Jarrett?

Beck: I don't think I've -- I've mentioned Valerie Jarrett maybe a couple of times in the last year.

O'Reilly: She was very, very upset.

...

Beck: I don't know what I've said about Valerie Jarrett other than she is the Karen Hughes, if you will -- she's a huge player. She considers herself, uh, family. And I believe he considers her family.

O'Reilly: Is that bad?

Beck: No, no. I'm just saying she is very, very tight there. And she is one of the big players.

See, now this is why Whoopi Goldberg called Beck a "lying sack of dog mess." Because Jarrett has been a regular pinata on Beck's show. How many times has he played that tape of Jarrett praising Van Jones? We lost count, actually.

More importantly, it was just Sept. 30 when Beck devoted an entire twenty-minute segment to attacking Jarrett, placing her at the epicenter of the vast conspiracy or black radical Marxists who had infested the White House.

We've excerpted the more interesting parts of this attack:

The day before this, he'd smeared her for her role in the Chicago Olympics bid, claiming she was a slumlord: "And Valerie Jarrett, some people say she was a slumlord, and she may personally benefit." He later added:

Beck: Is Valerie Jarrett, is it possible that she is going to benefit if the Olympics come to Chicago?

Caddell: Well, that's the word. She certainly had a lot of dealings going on in real estate.

He returned to the subject on his Sept. 3 show, when Beck invited Michelle Malkin on to slag Jarrett: "This woman is the consigliere not just to Barack Obama but to Michelle Obama as well, who shares these black nationalist and radical tendencies throughout their whole career."

I expect a Lexis/Nexis search would show that, besides the more outrageous smears, Jarrett has been mentioned on Beck's show at least twenty other times.

Beck is just flatly lying. But then, that's hardly news anymore, I guess.

-Its quite possible Beck doesn't really know what he's saying. He reads his teleprompter, cries a bit, yells a bit, talks about buying gold, and then its over.

I would rather see people here refuting what he says instead of just calling him names... If he is lying on what he says on his show, please point it out to me with the correct facts. He quotes their own words...how is he lying, seriously. Is this the best you have? Seriously? At least try to refute what the man says. He is on the radio 5 days a week for 3 hours then does a TV show 6 days a week. I am sure everyone here remembers everything they have ever said right? Everyone is perfect right? This story is so laughable, seriously, at least try refuting what he says, oh wait...if you could, I bet you would post it...

John, Beck was lying when he claimed that he had only "mentioned Valerie Jarrett maybe a couple of times in the past year." The truth is that Beck has repeatedly attacked Jarrett, calling her a slumlord, a black nationalist, and a consiglieri. This is documented in the article that you declined to read.

SNL's church lady, it's pretty funny to see Beck completely miss that one. Well isn't that special

Even if these people aren't considered news but opinion why can't we have honesty. That's right, lies make you rich. These people are no different than Judge Judy or Maury Povich and the Rednecks just eat the shit up. My brother-in-law is from Texas. Goes without saying he's one of them. He's also an email forwarder. The first email in the morning I get from him is about God. He thinks he's a christian. The next one is racist. You can't have it both ways. You can't be a christian and a racist. You're either a Christian and believe all man is created equal or you're a racist and not a person of God.

is intended to be a factual statement

are you saying that judge judy
who is respected for her integrity,
is a liar?

beck is irrelevant and when
everyone quits giving him undue
attention, he will wither like his nuts.

for starters ... and anyone that made it onto his Little House On the Prairies Blackboard has every right to think that he is the smarmy, lying, fat, racist douchebag that he is ... oh and Merry Christmas Beckster ... your VapoRub is in the mail ( dont mix it up with your KY ...)

I'm Boycotting NewsCorp! Heres what not to buy: http://www.cjr.org/resources/index.php?c=news...

With his viewers averaging 71 years of age, O'Reilly's audience is literally DYING off! Besides companies who sell adult diapers, reverse mortgages and "The Clapper" (Clap On, Clap Off!), why does anyone care about Bill O'Reilly and his meager viewer numbers?

Like Howard Cosell, O'Reilly and Beck are both legends in their own minds. But Cosell had people who watched him. I'll bet Sesame Street has more viewers than either of these two clowns and they're a heck of a lot more educational too!

Network news programs have nothing to worry about at this point.

Glenn beck lying? Are you sure? Knock me over with a feather.

In the HBO mini-series "John Adams" there was a scene where the colonists tarred and feathered a guy. Then they ran him out of town on a rail. Now, I would like to see that happen to this guy. In fact, if it was on Pay per View, I would purchase the rights to see it, probably more than once. I wouldn't care if he got a cut of the revenue. As long as the tar was hot. And the feathers did not come from an endangered species.

Hey Glenda, I have news for you. Everybody thinks you are an asshole.

. . idiot.

She's above Beck but not by much.

because I just can't watch clips of Beck.

Beck and Malkin are seriously just plain nuts.

The idea that anyone who displays "black nationalist and radical tendencies" could hold a job of greater prestige than line cook at a Burger King is ridiculous.

Beck and O'Reilly engage continually in passive-aggressive attacks which wouldn't even be allowed in monitored online chat rooms. What you have here (among others) are what are called in chat room parlance "trolls" and they should be regarded as such. Ordinary people just call them "shit-stirrers" - they don't even have committed POVs. They just get their kicks from disruption and getting people riled up over nothing. Clinically? We might call them victims of a psychosis.
