Black Panthers block African Americans from voting!

The Black Panthers are coming! Even though African Americans vote here 4-1...
We're all for fair elections. The right wingers suddenly got interested in it when John McCain got behind in the polls.
Greg Sargent has thoroughly debunked the story anyway:
Fox News and other conservatives on the Web are pushing hard on the story that two black panthers may be intimidating voters at a polling place in north Philadelphia. But an Obama campaign volunteer who's been on the scene since 6:30 AM this morning tells me in a phone interview that there's been absolutely no intimidation of voters at all today. And a Pennsylvania spokesperson for Obama said the two men aren't in any way affiliated with the campaign
"There was no fight, nothing," she says.
Fox News arrived on the scene at around that time and started interviewing people near the entrance. The building manager asked the Fox reporter to leave, she says, and he moved further from the entrance. That's where things now stand. "There has been no fighting, no voter intimidation at all," she said.

It's really curious to me that for decades, nobody turns a video camera on the white police with billy clubs and guns standing outside polling places, but suddenly everybody's up in arms about a couple black guys outside a polling place.
Remarkably unremarkable.
Did they look like cops to you?
Are you from North Philly? I don't know what it's like there, so it's certainly hard for me to speculate anything from that video. If they're doing something wrong, the guy with the camera should report them to the police.

The Black Panther were started back in the 60s to protect black Americans from racists and thugs.
Since many of the people who are turned away from the polls without reason are black or hispanic, I'm glad to see the BPP there.

These "Black Panthers" could have been plants.
Kind of "convenient" that of all the polling places in the city where the UPenn (Wharton School, no doubt) students could have gone, they chose the one which just happened to have two "intimidating" black guys, neither of whom work for the campaign, neither of whom have been accused of turning away actual voters.

my late father as well, at least on election night. Of course, he would make sure you knew his positions on candidates and issues if you somehow differed with his opinions, before or after election day...

One of the real delights watching the coverage of the results was flicking over to Fuks News and seeing the sheer depression on the faces of their commentators and front persons. Wonderful. At last that biased, bunch of liars got their just desserts and it was a joy to watch. Justice was served.

I heard on the local news last night that the authorities in Philly said that all the complaints were filed by outsiders. None were filed by a RESIDENT of the City of Philadelphia.
So what is the problem?
