Leading Candidate To Head Nat'l Young Republican Group OK With Racist Facebook Friend
By Logan Murphy Friday Jul 03, 2009 4:30am![]()
As we've pointed out before, some people just can't grasp the concept that everything they post on the internet or send in and e-mail can be spread around the planet in a matter of seconds.
Case in point, one Audra Shay. Audra is the leading candidate to head up the Young Republicans National Federation and has a Facebook page with many friends. For those of you who use social networking sites, you know that you can't always control what your friends post on your pages. However, you don't always have to agree with them, especially when that friend is a racist pig. (see picture above)
The blogger at the Arkansas Blog who provided the screen cap of Shay's page notes that she has been endorsed by the YRNF and lets her down easy, referring to her as "clueless." There is one silver lining. A few of Shay's friends denounced the use of the racial slur -- Is there hope for those young Republicans after all?

By making that comment she is proving that she's too damn dumb to be the head of anything except perhaps at the head of the line of idiots. Plus her friends need some education as well. Is it a rule somewhere that you must use bad grammer in order to prove you're an asshole? Jeez, what a group.
My first thought as well. If you're an aspiring politician--even if you are a racist or at least willing to tolerate them as members of your party--just how dumb do you have to be to put that information out there where the world can find it?
Oh well, the Republicans are social darwinists at heart, so I guess this is just part of the "natural" selection process for them.
Honestly, from that ranting the guy comes off as completely an utterly insane... which I think it makes it even more laughable when some people in this blog request we don't say "mean" things about the insane section of the conservative movement, lest we offend their "feelings." At this point I would consider it an honor if I were capable of pissing off the a**hole who still uses the term "coon" in the XXI century.
I think this is obvious. She's kinda going along with what he said, with a 'lol'. Not wanting to say straight out that he's far out, but still getting the point across, tounge in cheek. After all, their base is all they have, so calling out every loonie posting on some blog, might not be so fruitful.
We can demonize the political opposition on their actions and their merits, but looking up petty things like this to go after them and constantly reading into things the worst possible intentions and meaning... well it's low and unworthy.
Let's not become as judgemental and narrow-minded as the forces we try to fight.
Sorry, if a 'friend' referred to Asians as gooks, called me a 'dumb Chink,' or otherwise denigrated my racial heritage, they'd get an earful.
Would Dr. Tiller's murder be OK if the killer had posted a LOLCAT? ("We're in your church, killin your doctorz. LOL.")
So I looked up coon, and it's racist. English is not my main language, I'm afraid, and that slipped by my analysis.
I still think there are bigger issues to be concerned with. I guess I react mostly to the notion that there are too many items like this on C&L these days, while your country is still going to hell in a handbasket.
The guy used "Obama bin Lauden" in his comment, that's a clue too. Along with calling President Obama a terrorist among other things.
So it's ok that right-wingers demonize any politician, journalist or blog owner that is remotely connected to someone saying George Hitler Bush or similar?
... why are you defending these cretins with the 'librulz do the same thing' line?
Becuase liberals do, only not in such a racist and stupid way. Comparing the fascists in Germany with the fascists of the Bush/Cheney admin is not such a far reaching thing.
I want to be able to make that connection without being demonized.
To the clueless masses, it will look like the same thing, though. Why feed a vicious cirle instead of promoting common sense?
Any time someone calls a black person a "coon", we're going to call that person out. It's just that simple. I don't care if the person is a dem or a repub.
"Becuase liberals do, only not in such a racist and stupid way. Comparing the fascists in Germany with the fascists of the Bush/Cheney admin is not such a far reaching thing."
Sounds too Fox Newsy to me. If Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc. say something racist, you think is fairly countered by some random comment on a blog? Besides, there must be a 100-1 ratio of such comments, Conservative racist to Liberal bad analogy.
Please let me know when a prominent Liberal with a large soapbox even approaches the same lines as a prominent Conservative.
... who is seeing this vicious circle and lack of common sense.
Therefore, we shouldn't criticize these people because it would be just as bad?
You. Are. Not. Making. Any. Sense.
... thus it is natural for the presenter of such bogus arguments to not make much sense once the false logic is exposed for everyone to see.
"To the clueless masses, it will look like the same thing, though. Why feed a vicious cirle instead of promoting common sense?"
But these clueless masses won't, don't, can't understand common sense.

He's utilizing a tu quoque.
Sounds like an all duck version of Shakespeare's Julius Cesar, "Et tu quoque...."
I'm perfectly capable of discussing issues without resorting to racist slogans and epithets.
The abundance of this kind of item is indicative of a far more serious problem. There can be no progress on more visible issues when there's rot all over the underpinnings.
... These kinds of attitudes will always exist. Especially on a free forum like the internet.
Running around being the karma police for every lowlife, stupid comment out there is futile, and will only feed the beast, alienate and split people even more.
You will have to create progress despite elements who are far out and irrational. This problem will always exist.
Choose your battles. Starting a vendetta against every wrong thing written on the intertubes will drain all your energy, and that of a million like you. One might as well sit on YouTube all day, replying to every silly thing that is written there (which is a lot).
After excusing your initial ignorance as to the connotations of the term 'coon,' you seem to be suggesting that I shouldn't be upset at all with these kinds of things, because the internet is full of 'em.
Yeah, I'll just let them have their say, uncontested at every level - even that of civil discourse, because I have to get to work solving the economic crisis and bringing healthcare to the rest of the country.
You seem to be presuming that because I express a negative opinion of these people that I am obsessed with them, and incapable of doing anything else.
And if this is not the time or place to fight these things, when and where? People keep saying we should ignore idiots like Rush Limbaugh - and he's been ignored since his debut ... now, he's so influential that leading Republicans bend over to apologize to him.
Before the Holocaust there were bad movies like Das Ewinge Jude.
As for using fascist terminology in reference to booshco the analogy is apt when one considers the actual definition of the term. Otherwise we're giving the term up to revisionists (the polite term) and boldfaced liars (the impolite term) like doughy pantload; and, it's the logical polemical antithesis to their oft accusations of Socialism.
Additionally, this is further evidence of the one-sided blindness of the MSM in refering to "hateful" liberal blogs.
And where is your home country?
And what makes you an expert on Racism in America?
I ask these questions not to be a smartass, but I would just like to know, seriously.
I live in Norway. I'm NOT an expert on racism in America. Never claimed to be. But racism, -bigotry is a better term is the same anywhere you go. Although the historical details are different. America sure has its own dark history, and I have never ever disputed the need to deal with that. If you think I do, you must have misread me.
I can mention that I have been organized and involved in anti-racism and anti-fascism movements in Norway since the early 90s. I'm only observing and trying to be an open minded person with faith in the human soul and avoiding superficial bigotry.
with all my mom's first cousins who were there for the war and stuff.
There was a influx of brown and black people (EU immigration), very new to Norway, which was very disconcerting to my relatives, who have centuries of history in Norway. Lots of nasty racist comments just spontaneously erupting from them. Lazy ripoff artists was the conclusion by most of them, based on the bad behaviour of a few, who took advantage of a trusting system.
And my Norwegian cousin who lived in Sweden with his Swedish wife (Horrors. If one isn't a 60 yo Norwegian or Swede, one probably won't understand how mixed THAT marriage is). We saw a mixed couple with their kid in the park and he made some nasty comment of the future of the Swedish race and its inevitable direction.
It was shocking, to say the least.
OK. Tell me where you're from and I'll launch into a racist screed about your countrymen, and you can tell me how you like it.
White Anglo-Saxons have some nasty nasty insults in the books.
Since when?
I'm sorry, but racism is a cancer, and it needs to be expunged if we, as a modern society, are to flourish. People like this Eric Piker (and I wonder if that's his real name, because a "piker" is a person regarded as stingy or cheap) prevent intelligent discourse; their hatred of others won't allow them to treat them as equals, with equally valid ideas and rights.
Racism will slowly disappear int he modern world. Remember that it's not many generations since racist policy was the standard for us "civilized" western nations, both in the US and here in Norway (we stopped institutionalizing gypsies and supressing the sami natives here only around 30-40 years ago).
Racism does not go away if we constantly focus on it and look for it in every little crook and nanny.
We should focus on fighting FOR diversity and mutliculturalism, instead of AGAINST racism. The negativity spreads easily.
An example:
It's for instance frustrating to see the misunderstood way of fighting racism on international soccer stage, where they tend to show the word "fight RACISM" with a cool font, on the commercial banners all around the stadium etc. All meanwhile the players on the field are as diverse as they can get. The problem isn't really big at all in soccer anymore, but the notion that "RACISM EXISTS PLENTIFUL" gives strength to notions like that it's also "ok" to be a racist if you allready feel alienated by the esablishment and similar.
"Slowly" is correct so long as insensitive fools like you continue to make subtle, somewhat cowardly, lame ass excuses for what should be considered inexcusable.
Did I ever excuse what he said?
NO
Did I correct my stance when I looked up the word "coon"?
YES
Did I just run into a mob of dittohead authoritarians like you, having to proclaim you're "Left" by making it your nick?
YES
We respect your opinions even though we disagree with you, but when you pick on someone's screen name, you're getting off track. Not a good idea. Just a hint, okay?
The same vitriol and idiotic arguments that sustained things like the Chinese Exclusion Act have been redressed and are trotted out for the problem du jour, be it illegal immigration or the invading Muslim threat.
That it is patent nonsense doesn't matter to those who are selling it.
It also doesn't matter that we've been through this with the Holocaust, the Japanese Internment, the McCarthy Era, and the fight for Civil Rights in the U.S. - understanding history is essential to recognizing the patterns of thought and behavior, the circumstances in which racism breeds.
I hate to say it, but you're pushing the Rush Limbaugh argument, that people who cry 'racism' are nothing more than professional victims perpetuating a myth, rather than some more enlightened stance than the rest of us.
Racism, and other anti-diversity ideologies, will never just "slowly disappear" if we ignore it...that's be the methodology for most of the past 100 years, and yet racism still exists, and is probably more blatant today than it was 30 years ago. Why? Because the racists are no longer in control of the reins of government and commerce, that's why.
But, you won't be back to see this, of course, because we "picked on lil' ol' Celsius so much, he hadda run home." Typical of those who can't sustain their arguments.
Then that is a philosphical disagreement. I think racism will slowly disappear naturally since our society is becoming more and more multi-faceted. Look at kids today. They are more openminded to superficial differences than previous generations. Even though the bigotry towards gays are lagging behind the development. That is because they still have a generation of parents who are bigoted towards homosexuality. But in a couple of generations that too will be, if not gone, then a lot better.
There will always be hateful individuals out there. But picking one out in a crowd and demonizing the political opposition based on it is the wrong way to win hearts and minds, -the cornerstone for winning a political argument.
It's not just picking one out of a crowd. She is a candidate to lead the National Young Republicans. These people become older Republicans and run for Congress.
They swear an oath to uphold the Constitution, wherein "all people are created equal," but they don't seem to think that part is important. And this e-mail proves it.
which is that this is how racism breeds...one at a time. In your eyes, though, we should always strive for the strategic ending; well, let me tell you something, sunshine, you don't win the strategic if you don't win the tactical, and that's what this, and every other exposure of racism/bigotry/miscegenation/etc. is, a tactical exercise.
I agree with you that kids are more open-minded...but their parents are the ones enacting laws. And most of them belong to....ta-DA! the Republican Party. So, why should we NOT single out this wanna-be leader of the Republicans and chastise her for her acceptance of racist screeds?
Anyway, I wouldn't do that. These people have to be taught that it is simply wrong, it's not OK, and we will tell them.
it is a bit early for such obvious concern trolling... IMHO.
Nothing in that rant was even remotely funny, at least nothing the guy said would make me "Laughing Out Loud" but then again, I am not a bigoted asshole. So if people pointing that out makes you feel uneasy, maybe it is time to check in the mirror?
... that I think she lol'ed a bit at Eric, since even she saw that it was a bit far out. Afterwards, when I looked up the word "coon", I did modify my stance a bit. She shouldn't have affiliated herself in anwy way with what he said. So there :)
of deleting what the guy wrote, yet she didn't. Her response was a FAIL.
.
... wants to agree with her 'friend.' She just has to accept the consequences of doing so.
Is she really agreeing with him? I know sarcasm is not the forte of authoritarians, but I think she's trying to be nice/funny/sarcastic all at once; everyone's friend. There are worse things people do.
FFS, it's Facebook. How picky are we supposed to get? Aen't there enough real news out there?
How about spending the energy on somr real investigation instead of this ultimate partisan hackery?
... it's partisan hackery?
And why is the venue (Facebook) a free pass? Let's just ignore things like Hal Turner's website, because, y'know, it's just the internet.
I looked up the expression "coon" and it's racist indeed. She shouldn't have expressed any form of agreement with him after that, although this is stil nitpicking. News: people write a lot of things on the internet, and if we look for all these kinds of things, we'd have full days work 24/7.
... putting a noose on a tree and telling a black student he can't sit on a certain bench is just trivial.
No-one mentioned such things. I have agreed the comment was racist. Isn't that enough? Do we have to include the entire world history in the debate?
You admit the comment was racist, but continue to insist that the expression is part and parcel of a vast and confusing world, and relatively unimportant.
Is that the sum of your argument? It's just a word, so it's not important, compared to other More Important Things?
A random comment by some random guy is relatively unimportant. That a politician cannot take a stand against it in a reply makes the issue slightly bigger though.
I just don't see why people spend so much energy on things like this.
As I said, your country is still going to hell in handbasket. This must be your way of "partying until the end", just like the German Nazi establishemtn did while Berlin was being closed down by allied forces at the end of WW2.
... party on.
Because the guy who popped Dr. George Tiller at his church was just a random, relatively unimportant guy ...
... who just happened to have a steady diet of bullshit like the crap espoused by Audra's 'friend'.
And, incidentally, if you look down the road towards progress, there's this clot of yahoos yelling about socialism, secret Muslims, and teabags.
Pretending they're not there, or that they'll move when confronted by common sense and some mystical sense of enlightenment, isn't going to get us anywhere.
Again, this comes down to a philosophical argument.
I would like to claim that your way of "understanding" and "fighting" these problems is the way that has been tried as long as modern political movements have existed. Now ask, has the tactics helped?
I'm not saying, we can ignore things away. We have to call out BS when we see it. But not search on blogs for the most hateful stuff, and make it a posterchild. That is BillO-style.
...you run into and get back to us.
What dishonesty.
When anyone sets themself up as a candidate for anything, their own remarks on any site can be used to judge their beliefs and character. By her replying with, You tell em Eric! LOL, she appears to endorse his comment. A smart person would steer clear of any such racist language unless they were running for an office where language like that was acceptable.
... give me fifteen lines written by the purest of men, and in them, I shall find something with which to hang him.
She's probably not smart.
You have spent as much time here admonishing us for our comments as we have admonishing her for her's. But we all in the end came to the same conclusion. Sounds like a win/win for everyone.
Ignoring the historical ramifications of what we all know is meant by the usage of such a term is probably not smart.
?
And why so pissed at me. I'm not peddling racism. I'm trying to discuss rationally.
You seem like the perfect authoritarian mindset, hiding in numbers and atacking anyone who dissents slightly from the established conformity.
And again, lol at your nick. Just because you say it doesn't make it so. Or maybe you are an authoritarian commie. Newsflash: they are exactly the same as authoritarian right-wingers/fascist. It's just the name of the club that is different.
Yeah, this discussion is getting worse and worse... I'm gonna go now. Leave a nice message.
Part of discussing rationally is accepting the possibility that you are wrong, and this is not something you've done.
Your only premise is that racist antics like those of 'Eric the Friend' are unimportant and trivial, and we should just ignore them, and they'll go away.
Okay, let's pretend that's true. Let's pay attention to the 'bigger issues':
- The Economy. Who did the Republicans try to blame for the mortgage crisis? The poor. Black people.
- The Middle East. It's all the dirty Muslims' fault, they're gonna come here and take the place over if we don't fight 'em now.
- Faith in Public. It's all the fault of teh gay! They're gonna destroy my marriage! They're gonna corrupt my kids!
- Healthcare. It's them damned poor people again!
So when our politicians admit they follow Rush Limbaugh as a leading spokesman for their values, and it's clear Rush Limbaugh is a racist, we're to sit here politely and focus on better, brighter things?
Rush and Eric have very different statuses.
If you read my previous posts, you will see that I did adjust my stance when I looked up the "coon" word.
All this resistance does bring out the counter-arguments from me. 'Cos I don't automatically think everything anyone branded as a "progressive" does is right. Maybe we need to learn not to be follow the tactics of our opposition?
sonny jim..
Take your condescending bullshit back from whence you came.
Another one with a name for what he tries to be. Here's a tip: the branding shouldn't come before the substance.
Sorry to disturb your feel-good club. I read your comments, and sadly, people like you seem to much rather want this blog to be a playground for making the same predictable, jokes based on a stereotypical political view, than for it to be a real place of discussion.
I tried to make a point, maybe not well, but I AM on your side. Unless we are able to discuss things openly, we will end up as f**ked up as the right-wingers.
Dissenters are chased away from here.
And I might add that I've probably been a fan of (still is!) of this blog for way longer than you.
I'm just curious Celcius, have you been discriminated against?? Or do you blend in as an average looking and acting "mainsteam" Norwegian. Have you ever been spit at walking down the street, just becaause you were you? Have you ever been harassed by the police? Have you ever visited a friend who was beaten because of these kinds of racist thinkers?
(I'm guessing probably NOT.)
Myself, I blend in.
but I do have sister who is adopted from Bangladesh, and I have witnessed racism at a personal level.
That's a given. She is a Young Republican.
It's not just picking one out of a crowd. She is a candidate to lead the National Young Republicans. These people become older Republicans and run for Congress.
So the best that can be said about this airhead is that she's clueless? Sounds like she'd fit right into the GOP and its plans for the future.
I hope the GOP doesn't hold against her the fact that she "lol"s a racist remark by a neanderthal who wants to die from cancer and apparently blames the Government for his ass-wiping deficiencies.
Yeah, you tell 'em, Eric. Just keep smokin' and, um, excuse me if I don't shake your hand.
In what state is this? Here in wacky far left liberal New York State you can smoke in your own car(smoking restricted only in public places as it's a health hazard) - I assumed you can smoke in the privacy of your own space everywhere.
smoke with minors in the car.
And there's a legitimate health issue for minors in that instance. I've got no problem with that law or any other second-hand smoke law.
and I smoke like a chimney.
So the government should be all up into a woman's vagina and her business, but it should stay out of hotboxing cars with cancer sticks when those precious fetuses are present as minors.
... where getting a parking ticket whilst one attends a church meeting means the liburlz are persecuting you and keeping you from expressing your faith.
that "young."
Maybe Rethugs just get older-looking earlier?
... I always assumed that lacking soul makes people look younger longer, see Vampires.
A better comment for her to have made is simply say I respect your opinion but I strongly disagree with you. If she believes she will get ahead by okaying his remarks, then that tells you an awful lot about the party as a whole.
I'm not a facebook-er but can you delete comments there if it's your page? And also can you edit your own remarks? If someone used that sort of language on my blog site, I would delete it and I have.
...that these racist, pro-Amurrika rednecks can never tell the difference between "there," "their" & "they're?" Or "to" & "too?" Or "except" & "accept?" etc. etc. etc.?
Perhaps it's because they are so busy blaming others for their own failings that they missed the educational part.
LOL Personal responsibility!
.
... someone suggested they use 'spell check' and We All Know that only pagans use spells, so it must be more of that librul anti-Christian stuff ...
/snark
.
Is there hope for those young Republicans after all?
No. This has been another edition of ....
Ya know...after years of being humiliated, beaten, ostracized for dating outside my race in high school in a small southern town.
I for one will fight with extreme gusto and satisfaction against these anti-American assholes if there's another civil war.
You can count on that.
Wow, that sucks dude.
Damn straight! Row, row, fight the powah!
It's sad to see such values on display, but worse is seeing them held up as an ideal.
You can listen to this twit online here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/YRRenewal. She notes that repubs should not adapt and then cites a disadvantage in "minority recruitment". Amazing ...
Here's a guy on Glenn Becks 912 website that is actually calling for a military coup...and others agree with him. Here's the comment:
SargeE5
"We have troops in the Middle East, fighting Taliban, AlQeda, Iranian Insurgents. We have troops in Korea, waiting for the North Korean's to start something. We are contemplating sending troops to our southern border, unarmed, but they will probably be sent anyway. This nation is a nation of laws, I understand that, but so many of our laws have been broken by this administration, it's pathetic. Our Constitution is a worthless piece of parchment, if nobody defends it. I hate to say it, but we need some Generals to get some guts, and realize that this country's worst enemy, is in the White House, and his army is in the congress and senate, and they need to be stopped before they turn the U.S. into a third world country. That is what Obama is doing. The military took the oath, I know I did, and I have no problem recognizing the enemy. I'm just say'in..."
Comforting to know that these nuts are out there.
That site is a magnet for people with SargeE5's attitude. They feel free to display their thoughts no matter how insane or dangerous they might be.
Two things: who said it, and who is the audience. I get this "one-to-one" crap all the time from Conservatives who think that one bad comment is always equal to another.
If I am at a private dinner, and a racists says a racists comment (as racists tend to do when they feel comfortable) then I will react based on my company or peers. But this is not a person with a national megaphone, with a political position, or with a political soapbox. Their comment's scope does not compare well with a politician on national TV. I simple express my disgust and fear that my country is more full of racists than I give it credit.
If a O'HannityBaugh-Beck type person says something racist, their comments are broadcast to the public, and in the case of Limbaugh to the military. I would place their effect at 1,000,000 x that of an anonymous comment on a blog, give or take a magnitude. One racists from Limbaugh to the military weighs in heavily. One racist from Beck weighs heavily towards the mentally unstable.
If a politician says something racist, again, they must own up to the fact that their works carry considerable weight for their constituents and the country. Not at ALL the same as a random blogger or random comment on a blog.
Why do people like Celsius continue to equate these comments? If Audra Sigler wants to lead the young Cons, then she muse be more responsible than her racists friends. The problem is that racism leeches out when they feel comfortable, and Cons seem to understand technology less than the average Joe (not Plumber).
The problem is that racism leeches out when they feel comfortable, and Cons seem to understand technology less than the average Joe (not Plumber).
Of that at least we can be thankful, as it leaves their shameful thoughts and behavior open for all to see and scrutinize.
Some of the best discussions I have ever witnessed happen right here in the comments of Crooks and Liars. I love the challenge of minds here.
Bwahahahahahaha......my email address and account have been deleted permanently off Facebook. My crime? My name used was Osama BinladendaKamelHumper.......according to Facebook, only REAL names are allowed cuz it's easier for the crazies to track you down. I only used it to track my kids. But, read a huge majority's posts on there. It's almost 90% juvenile teen.
that facebook name is pretty fucked up dude.
Why didn't ya just call him a sandn****r?
"You tell 'em Eric. Lol"? Really. Nice to know that big republican tent is big enough to continue to hold all of the white pride stupid America has to offer. Nice. Shay / Palin Never.
Are you serious? I didn't know that bigotry was accepted in the Republican party...except that, yeah, I guess I did because most Republicans have no problem showing you that they are racists and are glad to welcome racists into their big-ass tent.
I would say Screw the Republicans except that I don't have enough diapers to take care of them all
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifam...
This guy nailed it.
Nothing out of the ordinary for the fascist/neocon party. This is what they are all about. Just listen to limpballs, lavine, vannity, etc.
A good bigot and hater is a great start for those "young 'misguided' repukes".
I'm shocked that a young Idiot conservative is a racist. I'm just shocked!
Must be because he doesn't luv him some jebus hard enough.
an Arkansan, who posts to Facebook and there are a number of conservatives, libertarian-wannabes and Republicans that I have to deal with... I can honestly say that she's fucking retarded ... and par for course. (and I apologize to all of my mentally disabled friends out there by lumping her in the same class as you.)
Audra sent you a message.
Re: Racist terms like coon are so funny, LOL
"I don't know what you are getting at. If you read the statement you would understand that I did not support that language."
Leave her alone. She made a statement... so it's now the truth.
You should respond back with this... So, you support ignorance instead?
I'll update if she replies...I actually didn't beat her up. And I did notice that, for one, Sean L. Conner the black DCYR chairman (yeah who knew) took his pick down from his own profile, it takes a special black man to go full Michael Steele, most brothers aren't built for that kind of bubbleboydom. And there are even a few Like Cassie, that are no longer her "friend".
...there will be lulz.
“Team Renewal is poised to take over and change the face and brand of the GOP. The talent and dedication of individuals like Audra and Jason is evident and I am proud to endorse Team Renewal.” Brian Maune, Central Arkansas YR Chairman
Team Renewal is poised to put on a peppier, brighter racist face. It won't be the old dour, sour puss racism of those old white guys. Team Renewal will put the Rah, Rah, Rah back into racism!
I'm still waiting for the double meaning of team renewal to kick in, as in...lets see what they wanna renew first...Jim Crow anyone?
But in the end, its only a new boondoggle for their own, they'll soon dry. "Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, the Koch Family foundations, the John M. Olin Foundation, the Scaife Family foundations and the Adolph Coors Foundation. (William Coors, you may recall, reportedly told a 1984 meeting of African-American businessmen that "one of the best things they [slave traders] did for you is to drag your ancestors over here in chains.")
I'm convinced that they can't finance anymore bellcurve studies or drill here drill now. Now they're giving money to these renewal teams, when they'll never go into the black neighborhoods and talk to the minorities they're paid to talk to. It'll be the same wingnut welfare that paid the Jonah Goldbergs throughout their post-collegiate careers.
Seriously, You can't be a Young republican when you're 38, have a 16 year old child and are on your second marriage. And from what I can tell she's been on the republican tit since 2001. Before that she was like most republican women running a sham of a "event planning" company.
But in all fairness I would hope she oversee the real Young Republicans.
Eva Braun lives!
Fascist bitch.
Where will all the mentally ill psycho's who are totally detatched from reality go to if the republican party folds?
She doesn't support racial superiority by denouncing racial slurs.
You gotta admit, they may be stupid, but they are evil.
"Young" anything political is lame.
Anyone who prefers the rethuglican party and especially young people are damaged goods. They were raised in a racist environment and taught to hate at a young age, they were dropped on their heads at birth, they were sexually abused at an early age, or they were not potty trained properly. There is something wrong with these hateful degenerates.
Why is it that nearly everyone of these Republican blog sites sounds like your reading a transcript of what's said in some middle school yard (usually among teen boys)? Sure, lib sites can suffer from too much juvenalia, but the Republicans as a whole just seem to be way down at the bottom of the trough.
Oh, well....I did enjoy the Comments on the Arkansas blog. Too bad much of that state doesn't seem to share their beliefs at the ballot.
Ms. Shay's Facebook page is now missing. The lesson is clear. Her party has been lying down with these dogs since the 60s (read Nixonland). Here it is 2009 and she is waking up with fleas.
... given the make up and track record by the GOP, I don't think they deserve the benefit of the doubt in regards to their blatant racist tendencies.

minus a few friends
she seems to have more friends, at the time of the screen shot she had like 1,186; she now has around 1,211...I do know that people she had as friends before are no longer her friend. I guess that little vacuum of notoriety filled with something or some one's?
He seems to no longer be on as her friend. Any ideas anyone...?
...Racism is a whole different animal, in my teenage years (the 80s), I had fathers beat their daughters for just conversing with me.
It's almost fascinating really. Here's a guy that's a really good student, participates in school activities and holds down a part time job. Most would be thrilled that their daughters are dating someone like that but, not some of these guys. As long as his skin is dark, he's the enemy...lol..../facepalm
Guys want to perform coups and other stuff. Does SargeE5 think that this is going to happen w/o a lot of Americans dying?
Again, liberals, GET YOURSELVES ARMED! These people are going off the deep end and FAST!
She totally addresses the comment that Mr. Piker made, but even more telling was the lack of any mention of the one below:
"What about the comment immediately below???? Where the person sees "Obama Faces" every time they go to WalMart and wonders if they should go ahead and buy things for them now or wait to be taxed.
Remember this always: Not all Republicans are racist, but all racists vote Republican. And the Republicans welcome it."
Actually, the Bush family used to work with the Nazi. Not a conspiracy theory, it was an established fact. George Walker Prescott Bush (George Walker Bush's grandfather) was caught red handed recruiting for, and funneling money to, the Nazi party at the height of the war.
How he escaped execution (which was the penalty for treason, back then) is beyond me, but they seized his assets, papers (in which he wrote a proposal to exterminate 70% of the world's population) and put it all on record.
In all honesty, people were executed for less. The Bush family comes from a long line of war profiteers. They are traitors to America.
Hope it wins! What a tool.
I find Jill Catterton comment which can be found on the full facebook page equally offensive. She refers to African Americans as "obama faces" and makes the tired assertion that her tax dollars go in the pockets of minorities. From her LinkedIn profile it looks like she works for Bayer Pharmaceuticals in Birminghan AL...I wonder what her boss would think of her racist post?
Can't even use the correct word (their instead of there), not to mention misspelling bin Laden's name.
And yet people like him expect to be taken seriously.
