Satan seems to be derived from the Egyptian Setah. I ran across that reference in E A Budge's translation of The Egyptian Book of the Dead. This appears to be a variation of Set, usually presented as an ass. Setah seemed to have a connection with snakes, perhaps affiliated with Apep, who nightly tried to destroy Ra in his Barque of a Million Years, according to The Book of the Am-Tuat. But Egyptians had good snake deities too like Nehebkau, who was a connecting God and of course the Goddesses Wadjet and Renenutet.
Lucifer was clearly a minor Roman solar deity, and Leviathan a Hebraic version of Tiamat. Devil is derived from the Sanscrit devi who can be good or bad, and demon from the Greek daemons who are also somewhat neutral.
