Drudge Screams 'Ethical Firestorm!' Over ABC News Broadcast from the White House

Let there be no doubt that Matt Drudge is the world's biggest douchebag. The gigantic screamer headline above leads us to this ridiculousness, written by Drudge himself:
On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care -- a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm!
Ethical firestorm? How is broadcasting from the White House an ethical firestorm? Even someone as thick as Drudge should know that every major press agency has a reporter INSIDE the White House every day reporting the, you know, news. Many of them -- GASP! Siren Light Animated GIF!!!! -- report live from inside the West Wing press room or on the front lawn.
By the way, remember when Fox News Channel's resident Monchichi Brett Baier did a whole thing from "inside the White House"?
O'Reilly, too. And then there were all of those Bush White House press releases that FOX News Channel aired verbatim.
But since Drudge is making a big pee-pee dance about this, expect all of the press to soon follow -- despite reality.

I agree he's a douchebag, but I could rank others like Beck, Limpballs, John Ziegler, and others right up there as "world's biggest...."

It's kind of funny to see someone else use the phrase "pee-pee dance" as that's what we call what our little dog does when he wants to go outside. I started laughing when I saw Bob had used it in this post.

Drudge is a worthless hack. It is fairly tempting to put him in the running for biggest douchebag, but as long as michael weiner, rush limbaugh, michelle "Tokyo Rose" malkin, and ann coulter (none of whom deserve capital letters in their names) are alive he'll be stuck in the "Bush Leagues" forever.
Looking at all the comments so far, it's sad there are so many right-wing douchebags from which to choose the "biggest."
And this is somehow worse than having Jeff Gannon, a fake "reporter" with phony credentials, in the WH press corps, whose sole purpose was to ask softball questions of Bush?

Seems to me ABC was very abject in their reportage on the Repubs.
Of course, whatever Drudge and Limbaugh say, Must Be True!
While I agree that Drudge is over the top, the ABC inside-the-White-House coverage was an utter hack job and bordered on sycophantism. I learned nothing significant from it; no tough questions were asked.
Granted, more conservative news outlets than ABC had similar access to Bush, but that strengthens the argument that neither ABC nor FOX do good critical reporting. The Obama administration has a lot to answer for, and I hope Crooks and Liars calls him out as vocally as it called out Bush.
