but I saw Richard Engel (NBC) interview him once and he did a great job. Engel's questions and determination to get a straight answer really pissed Georgie off.

And don't twist that to mean I think EVERYTHING is wrong with America. There is a lot that is right with America, just not those in power.
But here's what's wrong:
1) absolutely no accountability: a poor man can get jail time for carrying $5 worth of crack, but if you're rich and you drive your company into the ground or sink the economy, you retire wealthy.
2) no sense of humanity: you can create a comfortable lifestyle off the backs of others, or from people dying to prop up profits, with no remorse, no sense of guilt.
3) not taking responsibility for anything, instead blaming everyone else but yourself: He blames the CIA and an administration who hasn't governed the country for a decade. No, it was nothing you did.
4) the sheer callousness and disconnectedness of the privileged and powerful class: He's completely unaware and unconcerned for the literally billions of people who his decisions have had a direct negative impact on, more concerned about how history will view him.
5) self-absorption to an extreme: he's more concerned by how he might be viewed by the positive things he's never done (and will probably never do) than by what he actually has done.
Shouldn't have been elected the first time. Shouldn't be running an ice cream shop.
I can't get with Stewart's "I'm going to miss you so much" tag line.

If this guy wasn't on his way out it wouldn't be so funny and "the funny" just barely beats out "the depression" because of the fact he is on his way out - mostly because the Republicans got exactly what they wanted. Not one CORPORATE CONTROLED MEDIA reporter has challanged Bush and his LIES. The bad part Obama is about to be treated like Clinton by the CORPORATE CONTROLED MEDIA and No one is doing a DAMM thing to stop it, all you hear out of the Democratic talking Heads is My FRIENDS this or that REPUBLICAN.

Bush must be missing some brain cells. What an incredibly simple minded imbecile. How in the world could anyone have voted for this guy? I never understood, and still don't. The only rationale is that the GOP prefers puppets to people with brain power when it comes to the presidency. Unfortunately, it was a disaster for the country.
The best thing about Inauguration day will be getting a new President. The next best thing will be watching Bush have to 'smile' and act like an adult (the best he can manage, anyway) when the crowd goes wild after Obama is sworn in. You know it is going to irritate him no end he's being replaced by a black man with no rich powerful relatives who 'got him the job'. I hope the weather cooperates and they can get that million people on the mall.

With the catastrophe the Bush family has constructed against the country we should dismantle Herbert Bush's Library. We disallow George Bush's library. We build the Bush Family Prison, all placed in isolation(the whole fam-damley) where only the Star Spangle Banner and "It's A Small World" is played continuously,day and night. Where we try them all in a court of law. Execute on a Bush Family Gallow and cremate all and bury in a Bush Family "Potters Field". I wrote this back in February 2007 when we were fighting the Bush Library at SMU. It would be funnier if it were not so very true. Since then I have gotten many more ideas for the gift shop.
