Inside Politics carried Rove's incendiary remarks.

It also includes the response from Democrats asking for Karl to resign.

Schumer: When I heard his remarks, it turned my stomach.

Lautenberg: He can only have one reaction, and that is to ask Rove to get out of his office..

AmericaBlog has a lot more on Rove.

Captain Ed's defense is to quote Al Sharpton. I'm not kidding. So now, what Al Sharpton says matters to these people? At least you can comment on his blog. (If you go there, please be polite.) They are so good at apologizing for the White House they've turned it into an art form
(they're the WHA's). Of course their meme is that liberals like terrorists and hate America; Rove was just telling the truth. (lol)You see what I mean? I'll bet most of these WHA's have never been to New
York more than a few times in their lives; probably never went on top of the WTC, either. (Just so you know, I'm a New Yorker.) They are more interested in their political party than the country.

Steve Gilliard says: "So, Karl, where's Osama? And I would think US soldiers have to worry about people shooting at them and blowing up RDX bombs from material we forgot to secure. It seems conservatives send other people to die in a war they didn't really understand how to fight, much less win. Funny, I remember liberals supporting them at the time. But then, when Bush ran like the coward he is, you have to say something....read on"

What Ed fails to ever mention is that it has been this administration's own actions that have caused every problem we face today in the war on terrorism. Any mention of criticism of their beloved W.H. and the right-wing apologists cry like 13-year-olds begging to go to the mall. Just look at the grown men putting out the "I (heart) Gitmo" T-shirt. Or are they children? It would seem so.

I didn't know that John Kerry OK'd torture in Abu Ghraib. I didn't realize that Democrats were responsible for no armor, or virtually no health care for our troops when they returned home. I guess Joe Biden drew up the exit strategy. Wasn't it Evan Bayh who said we only needed 40,000 soldiers for the invasion? Yes, now I remember, it was Ted Kennedy that said we would be greeted as liberators. Barbara Boxer told us that Iraq oil would pay for the war. I forgot that Democrats suckered the reserves into prolonging their stay in the field.

Democrats must have made our airports no safer today than they were after 9/11. Democrats have lost 8.8 billion dollars somewhere over in the green zone. Maybe the Democrats told us that a mushroom cloud was headed our way if we didn't invade Iraq. I do believe that Republicans did come up with a fine menu for the greatest dining experience in Cuba.

Can you help us out?
