Now she has this: What has not been previously reported until now (a blog breaks news!?), is that not only could Rove not remember the name of the journalist who purportedly might have told him of Plame's CIA employment, but he also claimed to remember virtually nothing about the circumstances of the purported conversation. He could not even recall whether the conversation took place on the phone or in person."

When I hear this kind of memory loss testimony come from a "detail man" like Karl Rove for some reason Peter Gabriel's " I Don't Remember" pops into my head. Did the questioning go something like this?

Fitzgerald : Mr. Rove, who is the journalist that fed you Plame's CIA employment information?

Rove: I don't remember.

Fitzgerald: Where did the call take place?

Rove: I don't remember.

Fitzgerald: What time of day did the call take place?

Rove : I don't remember

Fitzgerald: Did you ever meet in person?

Rove: I don't remember.

Fitzgerald: Who is the President of the United States?

Rove: <silence>

Fitzgerald: Answer the question Mr. Rove.

Rove: I'm thinking...
