Sean McCormack called Robertson's remarks "inappropriate."

I found this quote weird in the Yahoo news report on Venezuela's response to Pat Robertson's "assassination" statement.

"State Department spokesman Sean McCormack called Robertson's remarks "inappropriate."This is not the policy of the United States government. We do not share his views," McCormack said"

Hoping for the murder of another country's leader I figure would rate a little higher on the Richter scale of responses other than "inappropriate" by McCormack and seems rather bizarre to me.
