Slight Majority Say Bush Should Meet With Sheehan

Slightly more than half of the country says President Bush should meet with Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a soldier killed last year in Iraq, who is leading a protest against the war outside Bush's ranch in Crawford, Tex., according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll...read on"

It's interesting to note that the poll shows an eleven point swing that people are for her actions. The STFU crowd continually loses ground on this front. Nobody is buying their argument that Cindy is hurting the troops or helping the enemy.

"The survey also suggests, however, that Sheehan's anti-war vigil has failed to mobilize large numbers of Americans against the war. "

Sixty percent have already swung against the war and Cindy has become a symbol for many, so I doubt if she would have a major impact in that regard. Sheehan isn't going to change their minds, but she has mobilized many extreme right wingnuts to attack her.
