Lieberman made a speech today. I'd like the 13 Democrats who voted for the Kerry-Feingold Amendment to come out swinging against Joe big time. I'd be fuming if I read his comments. He lies about the Amendment itself.

"The Lamont plan for immediate withdrawal and an arbitrary deadline is doomed to fail and weaken our security," Lieberman said. "It will leave our troops more vulnerable to attack while they remain, and will leave Iraq to become a failed state and a terrorist breeding ground when were gone."

Lie. Lamont backs the Kerry-Feingold approach, which in no way calls for an immediate withdrawal of troops, but a phased withdrawal to be completed by July of next year. Lamont has also said he would work within the Democratic party to find consensus if a longer-term phased withdrawal was more favored....read on
