I've been trying to take a few days off this week since I've been so burnt out from the primary like a lot of us and it has been almost four years for me without a break, but I had to mention this real quick.
Now I'm hearing the name John Kerry being talked about as a possible VP candidate for Obama the last few day. It's in print, cable talkies and on the radio. I like John Kerry, but who started that one? I didn't know he could help bring Florida and Ohio into the win column come November for the Democratic Party. Who knew?
Then Al Gore's name was brought as a possible VP on CNN and The Nation yesterday. Didn't Joe Klein say that Gore could be a surprise choice at the Convention to get the presidential nomination? But these thoughts aren't near as bad as the pundits that have called for Chuck Hagel and Colin Powell to be veep. Sure, that's just what we need. There's going to be a lot of idiotic stories being pushed on us because the primary just ended. Please just try to ignore this beltway babble as much as you can.
