TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie tonight stood his ground on Bridgegate.
As multiple investigations unfold around him, Christie maintains that he knew nothing about the closure of lanes to the George Washington Bridge — widely believed to be a political payback scheme — before the plan unfolded.
“I had nothing to do with this. No knowledge. No authorization. No planning, nothing to do with this before this decision was made to close these lanes by the Port Authority,” Christie said during his monthly radio show on NJ 101.5 FM.
