Rep. Steve King is letting all his hate hang out now, unabashedly and unapologetically. If you came to the US illegally with your parents when you were too young to know better but now want to volunteer for the military, King thinks you should go straight back to the country your parents left.

Huffington Post:

Democrats are going after immigration hardliners -- including Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) -- for their remarks against undocumented young people who came to the United States as children. After previously comparing Dreamers to drug mules, King said Wednesday that those who want to enlist in the military should be immediately deported instead.

"As soon as they raise their hand and say, 'I'm unlawfully present in the United States,' we're not going take your oath into the military, but we're going to take your deposition and we have a bus for you to Tijuana," he told Breitbart News. "That's the law."

King really is a nativist who would be running with one of the patriot groups in his area if he weren't. He has compared immigrants to dogs, the unemployed to kids who want to eat before they've done their chores, and offered a bizarre description of DREAMers as generally having calves the size of cantaloupes from hauling marijuana across the border.

His TeaBircher constituents eat it up, of course, but aren't there more out there who are repulsed by it? Why aren't they voting this jerk out of office?
