You watch the man who was once respected by the Bush Administration for his inside knowledge of the Osama Bin Laden organization as if everything is normal. Then he says something so out there, you know this man has a tortured past. You wonder why he was kicked out of the Fox circle of trust in 2004. That was when he went a little too far by denouncing the existence of Israel and more egregiously
the restoration of full Muslim control over the Islamic world's energy resources and a return to market prices, ending the impoverishment of Muslims caused by oil prices set by Arab regimes to placate the West.
He labeled Fox News personalities like Charles Krauthammer, Bill Kristol and John Bolton 'kid killers' so he was dropped quicker than Sarah Palin's "Alaska."
But in 2012, he proclaimed that Obama should be assassinated, along with Eric Holder. So that got him a few brownie points, naturally. Scheuer began the interview by admonishing us to stop trying to go after murderous Muslims by using legal procedure. Pre 9-11 rendition is the only way to go. There is no such thing as a peaceful Muslim, he insists. We need to be tougher on these savages.
So why was he really on today? I'll simply repeat one line from the interview and I think you'll get it.
...and our southern border has let how many of these people in here?
There it is. That damned Obama weakening our military and not "securing" the border, no matter what the evidence to the contrary is. That's all Fox needs for a booking. Never mind your tortured history, even a history laden with harsh criticism against Fox. You bash the Muslim in Chief, you secure a spot on hate-spewing news and all is forgiven.
