You might know him as the former singer for the Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age, but now he's got a solo project which has allowed him a little more creative freedom.

The album hasn't come out yet, but the material released thus far sounds like a pretty good basis for what's to come. From what I've heard so far, there's a lot of arrangement talent on this record and it seems like there won't be many traditional song structures present, which allows for some experimentation. I'm pretty excited for the release, plus it'll be interesting to hear some new, original material from Mark.
