It's time that President Obama lent Eric Bolling a piece of his ear on his little stunt the other day when he purposefully had the White House lit with rainbow lights. Eric Bolling claims that he did that merely out of spite because he knows that gay marriage is a very divisive issue. If he really wanted to be a great American, like Eric, he'd have lit the White House with the colors of the American Flag, red, white and blue.
Of course Bolling is pissed off at this display of love and tolerance. He is an American Hateriot. He does not believe in the Constitution that guarantees equal rights for America's citizens. He also knows damned well that red, white and blue are the same colors in the right-wing nutter's Confederate Flag, so there's that to consider.
Let's face facts. Fox 'News' has no interest in joining the 21st Century and catching on to what a sizable majority of Americans believe is a GOOD THING. They will fight progress because we all know the Republican Party stands for the Regressive Party. Also, the Repressive Party, the Ridiculous Party or the Repugnant Party work quite well too.
Bolling elaborates on how intolerant he thinks everyone should be, especially POTUS.
'Time to wake up America:.. Lighting the White House in the gay pride rainbow? As a Conservo-tarian, I accept the Supreme Court's decision, but many Americans are upset. I am questioning, however, the White House for use as a political billboard especially when the message is controversial and not representative of ALL Americans' views... How about you light the White House with colors that aren't divisive: red, white and blue... Because, Mr. President, rather than always dividing the country along race lines, along gender lines and along religious lines, How about just this one time, you promote some unity?'
The reptilian lizard brain that Bolling and his Cashin' In friends are making do with, can't fathom tolerance for someone who thinks thinks differently than they do. It matters not one bit to Fox 'News' if over 60% of Americans now support marriage equality. He's concerned about the crazy members of the 1% and the uneducated mouth breathers who think this is actually a 'news' channel.
In case he didn't raise the blood pressure of a Democrat who happened to be stuck in some waiting room or restaurant with this god-awful channel on, he finished up with,
'Maybe you can go back to dividing us next week. I get it, it's the Democrat way.'
