I'm just back from an extended vacation – thank you, blogenfreude, for staying on for an extra day – and ready to get back into… the Hegelian world-historical phenomenon known as Donald Trump? Well, what else is going on? Not a whole lot. And until the NFL gets underway in earnest next month, Trump pretty much has the stage to himself, towering over everything else on the American political-cultural landscape. I can't wait to hear what Jon Stewart has to say next about… aw, crap. This sucks. Let's get into it:
