Multiple Casualties After Shooting At Community College In Oregon

A shooter opened fire on the campus of Umpqua Community College in Oregon.

CNN is reporting that at least 10 are dead, but there's no confirmation at this time.


Multiple people were killed in a shooting at an Oregon community college on Thursday, fire officials said.

The shooter has been detained, a Douglas County fire official confirmed to NBC News.

At least one female was shot in the chest at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, the official said.

Umpqua is a two-year school with roughly 3,300 full-time students and 16,000 part-time students. It was established in 1964.
