So many simple things to be thankful for. I have a job (well, 2 actually), my kids are healthy and clever, I have a roof over my head and a car that starts.

I'm also thankful for my record collection and all the good things that friends have turned me on to fill my ears over the years. Big Star, one of the greatest pop bands most of the world ignored, is one of them. The album Third is a masterpiece of haunted souls wrapped around fractured melodies and glittering doubt. Putting the needle on the record right now.
