Ted Cruz went on the radio this morning to tell listeners he would 'absolutely' build a border wall, and yes, President Cruz would appoint Donald Trump to build it.
That's not exactly how it works in the government. Assuming you get Congress to appropriate funds for that border wall, then the government puts out a contract for bidding. I suppose President Cruz could appoint Donald Trump to oversee the contractors as a border wall czar.
Will there be cries and whimpers from right-wingers about Ted Cruz and his ideas for "czars"?
I won't hold my breath.
