Texas Ammosexuals Plan To Stage Mass Shooting

Oh, reality! Where have you gone? Will you ever come back or are we doomed to live inside the fevered fantasies of Dudes With Big Guns?

New York Daily News:

In the wake of two terror attacks, two gun rights groups in Texas have decided now is a good time for a mock mass shooting.

Come and Take It Texas and DontComply.com are planning the emphatic demonstration on the campus of University of Texas in Austin on Saturday.

The groups will "take to the streets armed with rifles and pistols on display followed by a crisis performance," according to a press release posted on Facebook.

But all isn't lost, because well, they're using fake blood. It's all just a show to prove to the Bad Guys With Guns how mean the Good Guys With Guns can be.

“We want criminals to fear the public being armed,” he told the newspaper. “An armed society is a polite society. We love freedom and we’re trying to make more freedom.

The demonstration will take place just 10 days after 14 people were killed in a mass shooting in San Bernardino. Last month, 130 people were killed in coordinated terror attacks in Paris.

"In the wake of yet another mass shooting one thing is clear, Gun Free Zones are killing us," the groups said in the press release. "These target rich environments are letting our children be murdered by evil people. Now is the time to stand up, take a walk, and put pressure on politicians to ban Gun Free Zones."

Oh, the Gun Free Zone baloney again. I'm not really sure these guys are ones I consider Good Guys With Guns now. How the hell would anyone know it's all an act on Saturday?

As for armed societies being polite societies? I suppose that depends on your definition of polite. Speaking for me, I'm feeling most polite when there aren't a bunch of gun nuts in camouflage pretending to shoot up a public place.
