Dr. Ben Carson's time is almost up on the campaign trail, but he's still trolling for dollars. Once he weighed in on topics such as foreign policy and ancient myths, he dropped like a rock in the polls and has never recovered. He blames the media for his descent, but that won't work in this case, even to most conservatives.
It does appear that he's trying to keep his sense of humor and it makes me wonder if he's a "Walking Dead" fan?
Last week, Ben Carson appeared on “The Eric Metaxas Show,” where he joked that supporters of his rival Donald Trump are like zombies.
When Metaxas asked how it’s possible that Trump could be carrying the evangelical vote in GOP primary contests, particularly when the billionaire mogul has repeatedly praised Planned Parenthood, Carson said he wasn’t surprised that such comments didn’t impact his standing in the polls: “I don’t know that there’s anything that hurts him. I think he was right when he said, ‘I could shoot somebody and it wouldn’t hurt me.’ People are almost blinded, almost like zombies.”
“You just hope that something will happen to wake people up,” Carson added. “I mean, Planned Parenthood? Are you kidding me?”
