MSNBC host Tamron Hall on Tuesday faced off against Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump about details of his plan to build a border wall and whether he has the ability to act presidential if elected.

"You've talked a lot about building this wall, a very big wall," Hall noted during an interview with the candidate. "How much will the wall cost?"

Trump estimated the cost of the wall at $8 billion, which he said was a "tiny fraction of the money that we lose with Mexico."

"But you're doing construction numbers, not real numbers," Hall pointed out. "You bring up, for example, the Great Wall of China that was built with slave labor. You don't have that in the United States."

"I think it's a good example," Trump said of China's wall. "We can build a Great Wall."

"We have 2,000 miles, it's long, but it's not 13,000 miles like they have in China," Trump insisted.

Hall also challenged Trump on his recent use of the word "p*ssy," which a supporter had first used to describe GOP hopeful Ted Cruz.

"I was repeating something somebody said from the audience, and it was cute," Trump opined. "A woman kept shouting a certain word so I repeated it, and people had a lot of fun."

"Many would say, 'What will Donald Trump do to the presidency if he's willing to on stage say something like that and other comments that I could laundry list here?'" the MSNBC host wondered.

"When you get to be president -- or just before you get to be president -- the attitude would change very much," Trump promised. "Right now, we are in a very combative stage, and we also want to have a little fun."
