Idaho Man Suspected Of Shooting Pastor Arrested At The White House
March 9, 2016

The man suspected of shooting Idaho pastor Tim Remington was just arrested in, of all places, Washington, D.C. -- in front of the White House.

The Secret Service said in a statement that Odom “threw unknown material over the south fence line at the White House Complex.”

He was immediately taken into custody.

There appear to be some mental health issues in play here.

Hours earlier, someone posted a message to Odom’s Facebook page claiming Remington was shot because the pastor was “from Mars” and had “ruined” Odom’s life, according to Wash. television station KXLY.

Odom’s profile picture also was changed to a drawing of an alien.

It's important to remember that most mentally ill people are not violent. But whether they are or are not, they shouldn't have guns. What is it going to take to actually make that happen?
