Conservative talk show host Jimmy Mathis lashed out at President Barack Obama on Sunday because he didn't not condemn comedian Larry Wilmore for using the N-word in a joke.
At the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday, Wilmore ended his comedy routine by saying, "So, Mr. President, I'm going to keep it a hundred. Yo Barry, you did it, my n*gga."
On his Sunday morning WBAL radio show, Mathis asserted that public figures should "go above and beyond to try to be as respectful to the individual and the office as possible."
"And then you have Larry Wilmore," he continued. "Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't remember anybody while roasting [President George Bush] dropped the N-word in the final White House Correspondents Dinner."
"If I were President Obama, I would have walked off that stage, I would have walked off," Mathis declared. "No way you're going to disrespect me and the office. This is not a P.C. society thing."
