VP Candidate Mike Pence Got The Most Awkward Haircut And CNN Was All Over It

White GOP VP Candidate Walks Into a barbershop for a haircut.

It must have been a slow day at CNN. Trump didn't say or do or tweet anything insane today. No new conspiracy theories or emails to talk about. So what did those intrepid journalists do? Send a camera to record Mike Pence's haircut. Yes,a haircut is apparently breaking news.

Let me set the scene for you. Mike Pence gets a phone call from Reince that they desperately need to show that the GOP are "every man" and therefore he needs to take one for the team and go out and mingle with the common folk. But to make it even better, Reince tells Mike he needs to find a barbershop and let a black man cut your hair. And ooh, let's videotape it! Because we like all black people. Outreach! Voters! Trump is going to get those votes, if it means you have to get 3 haircuts a week.

Pence, like a good foot soldier, agreed.

So here we are, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Pence walks up to Jones Barber & Hairstyles to get the "white man fade"and brought with him a camera crew to prove that yes, Republicans do like people of all races. After a nice cut, Pence thanks the barber.

What does the barber say in response?

“It’s been a pleasure, young man,” the barber replies. “Now, your name [was]?”

Pence says: “Mike Pence"

The barber has no idea who he is. Yes, that is how well Trump is doing with his black outreach.

Pence says: “Governor of the state of Indiana. I’m running for vice-president of the United States"

Twitter had a field day with this totally accidental, but not really, photo-op of the GOP trying desperately to win the black vote:

And my favorite

Next up? Donald Trump getting his car washed by a group of Mexicans who he declares are "not rapists or murderers!"
