This was a funny moment, certainly uncharacteristic for the somnambulant Dr. Ben Carson.who normally lulls his audience into a catatonic state with his delivery.

Carson, one of several GOP Presidential ex-candidates-turned Trump sycophants, was in Detroit with Trump on Saturday, to try to smooth things over with the African American community in the once thriving Motor City, USA. Trump's appearance at a Black Church sparked plenty of controversy, and likely did nothing to advance his standing among Black voters.

He reminisces over his old neighborhood to CNN's Jeremy Diamond, and explained Trump's objectives for the visit. Of course, Carson attributes all of the woes of Michigan's biggest cities, to "Democrat policies" that stifle growth and kill jobs. Of course, it's all President Obama's fault, because he signed the auto bailout and restored the U.S. automotive industry. Carson and the entire GOP and most of the 'liberal media' fail to remember this indisputable fact.

Carson repeats his generic, Drump-esque talking points. He includes the usual platitude-laden sales pitch:

In order for our country to be 'great again' every aspect has to be 'great' including our inner-cities.

Diamond asks Carson what he thinks Donald Trump "took away from today," and that's when he realizes his luggage may be driving away. He excuses himself and walks towards the street. Diamond, giggling, attempts to cover for Carson. Fredricka Whitfield back at the CNN studios jumped in as she noticed his abrupt departure. Carson returns and they resume the interview.

The rest of this Carson in Detroit segment was just more Ben Carson trying to sell Trump's make believe-solutions to real problems. Hands down, the luggage incident was the highest level of animation we've seen thus far from 'Stabby Ben.' H/T Heather
