NBC News confirmed that Donald Trump told Dr. Oz in a taped interview that will air tomorrow that wacky Dr. Bornstein administered Trump's physical.
With Hillary Clinton suffering from pneumonia, the focus has shifted onto Donald Trump's health and yesterday Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell and CNN's Alisyn Camerota that Donald had already taken a physical exam and they'd release the information this week.
When Andrea asked if Dr. Bornstein had conducted the exam, Conway said she didn't know.
Mitchell: And was it with Dr. Bornstein?
Conway: That, I don't know. I was not present for his physical.
That's very strange considering a campaign manager schedules every event in a candidates life and would absolutely know if the candidate was meeting with their doctor.
Dr. Bornstein caused quite a stir when he wrote a hyperbolic and amateurish four paragraph letter which described Donald Trump's health as near God Like.
"If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency," Bornstein wrote."
Andrea Mitchell was conducting an interview earlier today when MSNBC broke in with this report:
Mitchell said, "Just an update for the viewers now that Donald trump did appear, did tape with Dr. Oz on his TV show and moments ago Dr. oz on this TV taping released a news release saying they did sit down, they talked for an hour one on one about his personal health, his views on health care policy. during the filming which will air tomorrow, Mr. Trump shared with Dr. Oz the results of his physical examination performed by Dr. Harold Bornstein, that is the same doctor that NBC interviewed exclusively at Lennox Hill hospital, who has been Mr. Trump's personal physician for many years."
She continued, "Additionally as all physicians do when seeing a patient for the first time Dr. Oz took Mr. Trump through a full review of systems including nervous, head and neck, hormone levels, cardiovascular health, related medications... gastrointestinal health... history of cancer which means whether there is or isn't. It doesn't disclose family medical history, dementia, heart disease, cancer in relatives. Ivanka trump then joined her father to speak about child care and returning leave initiatives."
I wonder why the press pool that follows Donald Trump had no idea he had submitted to a physical exam last week?
Since it's being reported that Dr. Bornstein performed Trump's physical, did he join Trump on the campaign trail last week or did Donald somehow slip away from his busy campaign schedule and go to New York to take the exam?
