Donald Trump was asked about the mental health issues our veterans face everyday and Trump blamed suicides and PTSD issues on many of them because they weren't strong enough "to handle it."

The Republican presidential hopeful was answering some questions from a room full of veterans during a function at the Retired American Warriors PAC and was asked about the troubles the VA and veterans are facing when it comes to mental health.

Someone asked, "When you become president, will you support and fund a more holistic approach to solve the problems and issues of veterans suicides, PTSD, TBI and other... military mental health issues?"

Trump utterly and completely BS'ed his way through an answer.

"When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over, and you’re strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can’t handle it.

He continued, "They see horror stories. They see events that you couldn't see in a movie, nobody would believe it."

Everything Donald knows seems to come from watching television or going to the movies...

Trump stuttered throughout the answer and said, "We're going to a have a very robust level of performance having to do with mental health."

Do you know what that meant? Or how he's gonna pay for it? Does he have any idea what he's talking about?

He talked about the twenty-two suicides a day and said, "That should never be. So we're going to be addressing that very strongly and the whole mental health issue is going to be a very important issue."

The mental health issues facing many of combat veterans have nothing to do with "being strong." It's horrifying that he would say those words to a room full of veterans.

And it's insulting how stupid he sounds when discussing issues other than Chiiiiyna and NAFTA.

Why the military would ever support a man like this is beyond me, even if they are die hard Republicans.

As Buzzfeed noted, "Trump obtained four deferments from the draft into the Vietnam war before being medically disqualified from serving in the military in 1968."
