Rep. Blake Farenthold stopped by Chris Hayes' show tonight to play the Trump "locker room" card and also talk about how much he hated Hillary Clinton, which would have made for a ho-hum segment since those talking points are all the rage amongst Republicans.

And then he said something interesting. As he ho-hummed Trump's sex tape and sexual assault braggadocio as something that just happens when guys get together in their underwear and talk in the locker room, he also said it would take something really awful to change his mind.

So Chris Hayes asked him, straight up, what that thing would be. Would it be, for example, a situation where Donald Trump admitted he'd raped someone while bragging in that locker room?

Rep. Farenthold's answer was classic, as was Chris Hayes' expression.

I'd laugh if it were actually funny. But it's not. Not at all.

Rep. Farenthold is now in damage control mode.
